1. Check your internet explorer version by clicking on the help menu.
Then click the last item in the list "About Internet Explorer". You should see something like this:
Make sure the version is 4.*** if not click here to download IE 5.0 - yes it is totally free.
2. Check to make sure your display is set to a minimum of 16bit color by right clicking anywhere on the desktop then click properties. You should see something like this:
Click on the settings tab to see this screen:
In the colors box you can click on the down arrow to the right and select at lease 16bit (High Color).
